Biography

Cassandra Nelson, the firm’s paralegal, joined The Hopkins Law Firm in 2025. She supports the firm’s attorneys across a variety of matters and assists with legal research, drafting and reviewing documents, and case management. She also communicates with clients and opposing counsel and helps coordinate case-related tasks to ensure that matters progress efficiently. Her work focuses on providing consistent support to the attorneys and maintaining organization throughout each stage of a case.

A lifelong Virginia resident, Cassie enjoys spending time in Old Town Warrenton, as well as reading, writing, and spending time with friends and family outside of the office.

Education & Awards

Cassie earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Christopher Newport University in May 2024. Throughout the course of her studies, she contributed to the university’s student newspaper and was a member of the English honor society, Sigma Tau Delta, experiences that helped hone the research, writing, and editing skills she now applies at the firm.
